Mr 0. A. Pearson, manager of the “ Daily Express ” and other period - ioals has offered the Aero Club a prize of £4OOO for the first voyage from London to Birmingham. M. Santos Dumont, who won a prize lor his navigable balloon at Paris, will be a competitor.
