Football Union.

A meeting of the Committee of the above was held at the Manawatn Hotel last night, Mr Lovett in the chair. Proposed by Mr Desmond, seconded by Mr Dunn, That not more than two mills be allowed to combine to form one team. Carried. Proposed by Mr Marphy, seconded

by Mr Desmond, That each player in 1 such team be a bona fide employee for a fortnight preceding match. Carried. Proposed by the secretary (Mr Lightbourne), seconded by Mr Murphy, That the entrance fee be £x is, and that when such fee is paid the names of financial members of that club be supplied to secretary of Union, Car* ried. , , ' Proposed by Mr Morgan, seconded by Mr Cole, That each club send two delegates, and that vice-presidents of such club be also ex officio members of Union. Carried. Proposed by Mr Morgan, seconded by Mr Proctor, That any mill unable to form a team consult the Union as to which team they may combine with. , , Carried. Proposed by the secretary, seconded by Mr Leggett, That those teams intending to join the Union send in notice and names of delegates and members, and also colours before the 39th March, Carried. Proposed by Mr Dudson, seconded by Mr Proctor, That when stlch notice is sent, the names of the mills combined to form that team be sent also. Carried. Proposed by Mr Murphy, seconded by Mr Proctor, That clubs forward name of referee to Union, for Union to appoint same for matches. Carried. Proposed by Mr Murphy, seconded by Mr Morgan, That the Union make all necessary arrangements and fixtures for matches. Carried. Proposed by Mr Morgan, seconded by Mr Blanche, That the rules drafted by this meeting be submitted to Union for consideration, and alteration or addition if necessary. Carried; Proposed by Mr Murphy, seconded bv Mr Desmond, That admission to ground for matches be gentlemen 6d, ladies free. Carried.
