Coppin's Royal Dramatic Company.
Tonight at the Public Hall the Coppin Dramatic Company will produce the ever-popular military and musical drama “ Struck Oil.” When the company wore here some short time ago, tho pieces played by them on that occasion were much enjoyed by the Foxton public, although Mr Coppin himself was unable to appear through illness. To-night Mr Coppin takes the part of John Stofel, a character he is said to represent well, Miss Millie Collier also giving a faithful-pourtrayal of the part of Lizzie Stofel. Mr Bob Nelson, another old favourite, also takes a prominent part in the three acts, apd the principals are supported by a vkry strong cast of recognised artists. As we believe this to be the first occasion on which “ Struck Oil ” has been presented to the Foxton public, a good house should greet the performers to-night. The company, a large one, arrived by coach at midday from Shannon.
