The winner of any hurdle race after declaration of weights to carry a penally of 101 b. Nominations for all events, except Maiden Hack Hardies and Maiden Hack Race (first day), and Electric, Hack (second day), dose with the Secretary at boston on MONDAY, January 6th, 1902, at 9 p.m. Weights for first day’s races will be declared on or about January 10th, 1902. Acceptances for fir.-.t day’s races close on WEDNESDAY, January 16th, 1902, at 9 p.m. Entries for Maiden Hack Hurdles and Maiden Hack Race (first day), and Electric Hack (second day), close on WEDNESDAY. January 15th, 1902, at 9 p.m. Weights for second day’s races will be declared on Wednesday, January 22nd, 1902, at 8 p.m, Accep'nnoas close same evening at 9 30 p.m. Definition of a Hack.- A: Hack means a horse that lias not «t date of nom nations won a race of the value of 80 sovs, or races of the ooliecive value of 160 sovs since Ist August, 1899, andhanever won an advertise i race exceeding the net sura or value o 40 sovs (Hack and Hunter races ixoepted) Every entry must ste e the name, or assumed name of .be owner or owners, and the name, age, pedigree and descript on of the horse, together wiih the colors of the rider. The advertised fee must in every case accompany nominations and acceptances. All races to be run under the “ Rules of Racing.” No betting allowed on the course, except through the medium of the totaiisaior. The Committee reserve the right to alter any of the above dates.
