The winner of any flat race after declaration of weights to carry a penalty of lOlbs, and of every additional race 7lbs extra, in all flat handicaps at the meeting. ’ The winner of any hurdle race after declaration of weights to carry a penalty of 101 b. Nominations for all events, except Maiden Hack Hurdles and Maiden Hack Race (first day), and Electric Hack (second day), close with the Secretary at foxton on MONDAY, January 6th, 1902, at 9 p.m. Weights for first day’s races will be declared on or about January 10th, 1902. Acceptances (or first day’s races close on WEDNESDAY, January 16th, 1902, si 9 p.m. Entries for Maiden Hack Hurdles and Maiden Hack Race (first day), and Electric j Hack (second day), close on WEDNESDAY, January 16th, 1902, at 9 p.m. Weights for second day’s races will be declared oh Wednesday, January 22nd, 1909, at 8 p.m. Acceptances close same evening at 9 80 Definition ofi a Hach.-K Hack'means a horse that has not at date of nom natlons won a race of the value of 80 sovs, or races of the collective value of 150 sovs since Ist August. 1899, and has never won an advertised race exceeding the net sura or value of 40 sovs (Hack and Hunter races excepted). Every entry must state the name, or assumed name of the owner or owners, and the name, age, pedigree and description of the horse, together with the colors of the rider. The advertised fee must in every case accompany nominations and acceptances. All races to be run under the " Rules of Racing."
