On Saturday, 29 th December, the mail trains will run between New Plymouth and Wanganui, connecting as on ordinary mail days, with the Wellington trains at Aramoho, and with steamer for Auckland at New Plymouth. Special train will leave Palmerston at 9.45 p.m. for \ Wanganui. The 11.45 p.m. Goods j train, Palmerston to Wellington, will carry passengers. On Thursday, Ist January, the usual 9.0 a.m. train from Foxton wll leave at 8.0 a.m. and run an ! hour earlier than usual to Pa'merston. On Christmas Day, the usual train services will bo run between New Plymouth and Foxton, except that the evening trains between Mangao- ; noho and Marton will run instead of the usual midday trains. • FEILDING SPORTS AND PAL- ; MERSTON RACES. On Boxing Day, 26th December, the usual 9.0 a.m. train from Foxton will leave at 7.45 a.m., Palmerston 9.25 a.m., arriving at Feilding 10 5 a m Returning from Feilding 615 p m., Palmerston 7.5 p.m., arriving Foxton 8.85 p.m. The 5.5 pm. train Palmerston to Foxton will not run.
