On Saturday, 22nd December, the mail trains will run between Wanganui and New Plymouth, connecting a3 on ordinary mail days with Wellington trains at Aramoho and with steamer for Auckland at New Plymouth. A special train will leave Palmerston at 9.45 p.m. for Wanganni. The 11.45 p.m. Goods train Palmerston to Wellington will carry passengms. On Monday, 24th December, special ; trains will lea\e Wellington as 11.15 p m., Palmerston 4.10 am, for Wanganui. On Christmas Day, the usual train services will be run between New Plymouth and Foxton, except that the evening trains between Mangaonoho and Marton will run instead of j the usual midday trains. J FEILDING SPORTS AND PALMERSTON RACES. On Boxing Day, 26th December, the usual 9.0 a.m. train from Foxton will leave at 7.45 a.m., Palmerston j 9.25 a.m., arriving at Feilding 10 5 j am. Returning from Feilding 615 p m., Palmerston 7.5 p.m., arriving Foxton 8.35 p.m. The 5.5 pm. train Palmerston to Foxton will not j run.
