The Deaf, Dumb and Blind Entertainers.

Last night a full house greeted the above company, the per formers coming in for a lot of applause, and meeting with much appreciation from the audience. The performers also exhibited the various systems used by the deaf and dumb, given by Messrs A. Morgan and W. Taylor, and also Miss Woodard, showed how quickly those deprived of the ordinary faculties could communicate with each other. Mr A. Solomon, the blind comedian, contributed greatly to the success of the entertainment, his comic songs fairly bringing down the house. This performer gave " Fancy Meeting You," " I've got the Ooperzootic," and " The Laughing Song," besides several others. Two humorous sketches by W. Taylor and A. Morgan, deaf and dumb artists, entitled "The Sympathetic Dentist" and •'The Subterranean Barber" concluded the first and second parts of the programme, and caused great laughter in both. Miss Woodard gave the best exhibition of clubswinging seen here, and Mr Taylor gave some lightning sketches which were remarkably fine. Messrs Solomon and Irwiri were also successful in their latest hit entitled " Music on the Brain, " in which both performers played many instruments. Miss Annie Drummond, the soprano of the company, was unable to be present through illness. Mr Spicer, in returning thanks to the audience, said that Foxton had given them the bast house! since their appearance in the North Island.
