Joe one of the blacks concerned in K the Gilgandra and other rnurderd; and brother of Jimmy Governor, who has been captured, was shot deachat Singleton. Joe Governdr robbed the hut of a civilian named Wilkinson, who tracker! , him to a camp with his brother, watering the place till daylight. They surprised the outlaw, who was sleeping, and called on him to surrender. He refused, and bolted, several shots being exchapged. Finally the native took refuge in a water-hole, arid was shot dead.
