Nominations for all events, excent Maiden Hack Race (first day), and Maiden Hack Hurdle Handicap and Electric Hack (second day), close with the Secretary at Foxton on SATURDAY, January sth, 1001, at 9 p.m. Weights for first day's races will be declared on or about 10th January, 1901. Acceptances for fir t day's races close on MONDAY, January 14th, 1901, at 9 p.m. Entries for Maiden Hack Raoe (fir9tday), and Electric Hack (second day), and ruminations for Maiden Hack Hurdle Hand ; - cap (second day), close on MONDAY, January 14'h, 1901, at 9 p.m. Weights for second day's race 3 will be declared on Monday, January 21st, 1901^ at 8 p.m. Acceptances close same evening at 9 30 p.m. Definition of a Hack.— A Hack means a horse that ha 3 not at date of nomna tlons won a race of the value of 80 soys, or races of the collective value of 150 soys since Ist Augu3t, 1900, and has never won an advertised race exceeding the net sum or value of 40 soys (Hack and Hunter races exeppted).
