Notice is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Council held on the 17th inst. it was resolved " That for the purpose of providing Interest and Sinking Fund at 3^ per centum per annum for a period of forty-one years on the loan of £400 proposed to be raised under the " Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886," and amendments, for the construction of Elkins-Motuiti Road, Awahou Riding, a special rate of one-thirtieth of a penny (l-30d.) : in the £ be made and evied on the rateable value of all the rateable property (unoccupied Crown and Native Lands excepted) lying in the Awahou Riding, County of Manawatu, such rate to be an annually recurring one for a period of fortyone years, payable in one sum at the County Offices, Sanson, on the first day of July in each year.
