NOVEMBER. Give frequent stirrings with the hoe j to keep down weeds, and abundant supply of water and liquid manure. Read cultural directions of all growing crops. Put sticks to peas. Thin parsnips and carrots, &c, and go on transplanting as quick as the plants are large enough to handle. Another sowing of peas and beans, sag oy for late crop, cabbage, broccoli, kale, beets,
kidney beans, lettuce, spinach, turnips. Cucumbers and marrows may be sown in open ground for late supply. Pits and frames emptied of their winter occupants will be useful for hardening bedding plants previous to planting out. Mulch fruit trees.
