A.M.P. Society.
The referendum taken by the A.M. P. Society amongst policyholders on the proposal of the directors to extend the business of the society to Great Britain has resulted in the rejection Of the proposal. The voting was as follows : — For the proposal, 95,362 ; against, 104,---786. The Board of Directors announces that no steps will be taken to confion the resolution previously carried in favour of tho proposal.
