Wool Sales.

The wool sales opened at Sydney on October 22nd. Foreign buyers were well represented. Prices show a decline of 45 per cent, compared with the prices ruling at the corresponding sales last year. Greasy sold at 8M and scoured at is 3sd. There was a dragging sale in London with numerous withdrawals of greasy and scoured merinos, and prices, are hardly maintained. The quantity catalogued to date is 123,241 bales, of which 113,666 have been sold. The Longburn clip realised 6s d.
