THANKSGIVING BALE. Edmund Osborne, Of Foxton, Draper, WISHES to thank his numerous Customers for the liberal support accorded him during the past year, and would respectfully intimate that having completed the most successful season he has ever experienced during his long residence in Foxton he kas decided to show his gratitude -to those who have favored him with their kind patronage by holding a Clearing Sale during JLugust, when .the balance of WINTER GOODS will be offered at prices which he trusts will meet with general approval. For some time past E.O. has been considering the most judicious way %o express his thanks for favors received, and has decided to .call the pre sent a " THANKSGIVING SALE." Take particular notice of prices ticketed on Goods displayed on the lines and tables. Some people who are unacquainted with business say " It just shows .the large profits previously obtained when Goods can be sold at such prices." This is not the case. We have been selling Hats at trom is to 4s 6d, and tome of these are put in a basket to be sold Bit id each. Any thoughtful person must know that if OSBORNE does purchase cheaper than the other drapers he muts pay more than the id for Hats worth 4s 6d. This is one of the ways he wishes to express his gratitude, and he is also desirous that people shall continue to say " We Purchase Cheaper at Osborne's."
