METHUEN IN ACTION.
Lieut.-General Lord Methuen's division attacked and routed the Boers near Malopo River, north of Mafeking capturing 30 Boers, 22 waggons, much grain, two heliographs, and 40,---000 rounds of ammunition. The enemy fled in disorder, but were not pursued, owing to the horses being too tired. dj
