Notice is hereby given that it is the intention of the Manawatu County Council to raise a oan of .£4OO under "The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886," and amendments, and sub-section 8 of section 2 of the Government Loans to Local Bodies Act Amendment Act, 1899," for the purpose of construction of ElkinsMotuiti Road, Awahou Riding. The cost of raising the said loan to be paid out of moneys to be borrowed. As security for the payment of interest and sinking fund on the said loan at 3£ per centum per annum for forty-one years, it is proposed to levy a Special Rate of one-thirtieth of a penny (l-80d) in the £ on the rateable value of all the rateable property (unoccupied Crown and Native Lands excepted), lying in the Awahou Riding, County of Man watu.
