Tho NEW ASSURANCES issued amounted to £3,955,685, a sum IN EXCESS of that granted in any year since 1891. The TOTAL ASSURANCES in force (including Bonus additions) now amountjto £54,343,821. The NET INCREASE to the volume of business in force is THE LARGEST in any year since 1891. The ACCUMULATED FUND amounts to £16,074,740, and the ANNUAL* INCOME to £2,259,357. " The RESERVE set apart for the possible DEPRECIATION of SECURITIES [now ' stands at £266,692. The DIVISIBLE SUHPLUS for the year amounts to £.j06,182, yielding REVERSIONARY BONUSES of about £942,500.
