Another Attempted Murder

An attempt has been made to assassinate the Shah of Persia (Muzaf-fer-ed-Din), who is now engaged upon a tour of Europe. As the Shah was leaving Pariß, a man rushed at the carriage in which he was seated, and pointed a revolver at him, shouting "Long live the children of the poor." The Shah was accompanied by his Grand Vizier, who grasped the revolver, while a police cyclist seized and held the assailant. The would-be assassin is either an Italian or a native of Southern Greece.
