The NEW ASSURANCES issued amounted to £3,955,685, a sum IN EXCESS of that granted in any year since 1891. The TOTAL ASSURANCES in force (inrfuding Bonus additions) now amounWo £54,343,821. The NET INCREASE to the volume of tusiress in force is THE LARGEST in any year since 1891. The ACCUMULATED FUND amounts to £16,074,740, and the ANNUAL-IN-COME to £2,259,357. The RESERVE set apart for the possible DEPRECIATION of SECURITIES [now stands at £266,692. The DIVISIBLE SUHPLUS for the year amounts to £500,182, yielding REVERSIONARY BONUSES of about £942.500.
