The match between the Foxton players and the Wanderers (Wereroa), took place on Saturday apon on the Racecourse, resulting in the defeat* of the visitors by 19 points to nil. The game was most interesting" to witness, the losers playing with a lot of dash in saving their jijje. L. Furrie. (Foxton), did all the scoring, getting 4 tries, converting two, and kidring a splendid goal from a • penalty. The Foxton men played with more combination than hitherto, some* capital passing in the back division taking place. Tho position of referee was ably filled by Mr Mclntyre, of Levin, whose deoiaionfe were accepted without question.
