Thursday last (Queen'g Birthday^ being a holiday under' Ute* Factory' Act, Messrs Gardner Iftd Pascal's mills combined to hold sonie^ii^etic Sports, which came off most successfully on the Paiaka grounds. The day being fine there wad a very large attendance from, the neighbourhood. The following were the eyenta : — Boys Race, 100jds*-^wJ&gfou|e& 25yds, 1 ; G.
