The Price of Draught Horses.
Messrs Gorton and Son conducted the third annual hone sate .of fteasn Hocken Bros, at Graasmeae on Wednesday afternoon. There was a good M attendance of buyers, many from distant places. Heavy draughts ready for any kind of work sold, readily at high prices. The few light horses good as hacks or for trap did not find ready sale at the vendors' reserves. The following record of the first twenty sold will show the prices of horses pt their kind at the present time :— / Full draught mare sold to David Buick at £49 17s. >Bay mare, by/Clansman^ sold to B.
