Wellington Wool and Skin Sales.
Messrs Levin & Co., Limited, report : — We offered 15 bales wool and a small catalogue of skins to- lay. Advices from London reporting a further fall in wool led us to expect a fall in prices here, but owing probably to the small supply available prices were maintained at their recent level. Crutchings should now be coming forward, and we would suggest to growers to send forward any thpt/inay be ready before the heavy supplies are to hand. We quote — Skins: Full wool crossbreds, 5d to Bid ; medium crossbreds, 4£d to 5d ; deagl skins, 8d to 4d ; pelts, 4d to. 2s. Wellington, 11th May, 1900.
