Expected Relief of Mafeking.

Owing to the great pub' io interest concerning the long-delayed relief of Mafekinff, it is intended to announce at Wellington the nawß when received, by flag Bigna 1 from the General Post Office and firing a tvn detonating rockets. Should the news arrive at night a large arc lght will be lit at the top of the Post Office tower, bells rang and rockets fired. Instructions have been -given to other post offices in the •o'ooy to do whatever they can to announce the news promptly. The local postmaster will announce the news on Urge placard* outside the post office, and the Mayor will have the firebell rung.
