Lieut.-General lan Hamilton defeated a considerable force before they reached Thabanchu. LORD ROBERTS' ADVANCE. The British at Glen Camp, north of Bloemfontein, have been considerably reinforced and there are other indications of the imminence of an advance. TO RELIEVE MAFEKING. There are indications that MajorGeneral Hunter's forces in GriOjUaland West, and Major-Geueral Carrington's forces in Rhodesia will co-operate to compel the raising of the siege of Maf eking.
