The Plague.
IN NEW ZEALAND. On Friday Dr Mason and Mr Gilruth took from a shed in the western tee of the Auckland wharf a rat killed by one of the men. It appeared ill. It is stated the animal has been examined, and that a guinea pig has been inoculated from it. *£h_^ result of the examination will be known on Monday. Meanwhile three men who were working in the shed have been isolated, and the shed shut and fumigated.
