• THE REDDERSBERG SURRENDER. Acoording to the Boer prisoners all the British at Reddesberg were wounded except fifty. The ground afforded the Boers cover at short rifle range. NORTH OF LADYSMITH. The Boers are still in strong force m northern Natal. BRITISH AT WEPENER ISOLATED. Colonel Dalgety, of the Cape Rifles now commands Wepener, Brabant having retired to AKwal North. Wepener is isolated and is threatened by a force of two thousand Boers with four guns, who are laagered five miles to the north west of the town. There is a good store of provisions on hand. There was sharp fighting all Monday at Wepener, both sides losing considerably. Through the Boers were checked they reinforced on Tuesday, and attempted to surround the town, a commando of two thousand marching on Springsforitein. Rund^e's division has been diverted there. A USEFUL SCOUT. i Burnham, the famous American scout, discovered the ambush at Koornspruit, and tried to warn Broadwood, but he was captured and subsequently effected bis escape.
