Wanganui Education Board.

The regular meeting of the above was held on Monday evening. Present — Messrs Bridge (chairman), Spurdle, Lethbridge and Pirani. Foxton. — The request for repairs referred to the Building Committee with power to act. Swimming. — On Mr Pirani's motion, it was decided to apply to the Auckland Swimming Association for £20 of the Government grant for teaching swimming in primary schools. Election of Members. The following was the result of the election of members to fill the vacancies caused by the retirement of Messrs Bridge, Baker and Adams : — Elected. W. Corry 71 G. S. Bridge 62 B.
