PALMERSTON NORTH HOSPITAL.

TO THE EDITOB OF THE MANAWATU _0-B_l_>. Sir, — The attention of the Board lias heen drawn to the report, contained in your issue of Tuesday last, of the death of the late Patrick Murphy, and particularly to that part of the report where it is stated that "the unfortunate man was at the hospital twelve hours before he was attended to by any doctor." This statement is absolutely incor-. reet. The facts of the case bsing that Dr. Taylor was actually in the building at the time Murphy was admitted, and within five minutes thereafter the doctor had seen him, and the remedies ordered were immediately applied. I trust that you will, at once give this publicity. — Yours truly, Edmund Goodbehere, Chairman. Palmerston North, 6th March, 1900.
