Mr Albert Lucas, the celebrated elocutionist and dramatic reciter, will make his first appearance before a i Foxton audience on Wednesday and Thir. .day evonirt.^'i next. Mr Luc_ . will be supported by a capable conoert company, and will introduce a varied programme consisting of comedy, music and story. A series of up-to-date views of the war in South . frica will form a prinoipal item of the evening's entertainment, aud Mr Lucas, who has lived amongst the Boers and speaks their language, will give some interesting details of his experiences. The limelight views are highly spoken of, and were specially manufactured for Mr Lucas. Popular prices will be charged.
