Wellington Wool and Skin Sales.

Messrs Levin & Co. report :— There was exceptionally large entries for the sale to-day, so much so that a special sale will be held next Friday to clear the balance of the wool and skins which could not be catalogued to-day. We have no change in the market to record — wool prices remaining on the level of recent sales, and skins holding their own in a rather surprising manner. We quote : — Merino skins, 7d to 7£d ; fine skins, 6£ to yd ; crossbred skins, 5d to 4sd ; lamb skins, 4*d to sd ; dead skins, 4jd to sd. Wellington, 23rd February, 1900.
