! The Boers have taken the In- ! kandhla Magistracy in Zululand. Mr Knight, the Magistrate, previous to the occupation, exploded the magazine. He has arrived at Essowe with the police force. THE BOER GUNS. A secret memorandum presented to the Volksiraad shows that the Boers had 230 modern guns previous to the outbreak of war. THE POSITION AT COLESBERG. n The Boers at Colesberg are not surrounded, but hold the whole of the northern Colesberg district, extending in a semi-circle east and west, and present a strong thirtymile front, with full line of communication with the Frde State. MASKED BATTERIES DISCOVERED.
A balloon revealed to General Buller a dozen cunningly masked guns at Dvornkloof , commanding the Ladysmith road, where evidently it was intended to trap the British. on their march to the relief of Liadysmith.
BRITISH FORCES.
The British forces at the front by the end of this month will total 194,000. This includes 20,000 militia.
HOUSE OF COMMONS,
The Address-in-Reply was agreed to in the House of Commons. Thajm|l 120,000 additional men provided for™^ in the Supplementary Estimates includes all in the field and afloat, while the vote covers the expenses of the campaign to the end of March. Their constituents passed a resolu-^l I tion censuring the attitude of Sir Edward Clarke, member for Plymouth, over the war. Sir Edward has resigned.
The electors of. Caithness also passed a vote of censure on Dr Gavbi Clarke for a similar reason.
WAR CORRESPONDENT.
Mr Hales, a Westralian war "flj&rrespondent, is also missing in the reconndisance by the colonials at Colesberg.
