The usual weekly meeting of the local lodge, " Try Again," No. 67, was held in-the G.T. Hall on Thursday evening. During the holiday season the \ meetings were discontinued, but now things have resumed their normal condition, and there is promise of a lively quarter. Some few have been re-obligated, and there are many candidates for initiation . "The more the merrier" ' —and the better for the community. After the transaction of formal business the election of officers for the current quarter was proceeded with and the following were duly elected : — C.T., Rev. Br. Woollass ; V.T., Sist. M. Walker; C, Sist. Andresen; Sec, Br. Stewart; Tr.,Br. Walsh ; F.S., Br. Archibald; M., Br Collins; P.C.T., Sist. N. Walker ; G., Sist., Fyfford; Sent., Br. A. Speirs. A dispensation having been granted by the acting L.D. tha foregoing were duly installed officers of the Lodge by Br. Stewart, G.T.L.D., and immediately entered upon their duties. Arrangements . for the conduct of business during the current quarter were then made, and the meeting closed in Faith, Hope and Charity at 9.45. ______ '
