Nominations for all events, except Maiden Hack Race (first day), and Maiden 1 Hack Hurdle Handicap and Eleotrio Haok (second day), olose with the Seoretary at Foxton on THURSDAY, January 4th, 1900, at 9 p.m. Weights for first day's races will be declared on or about 12th January, 1900. 'Acceptances for firat day's races close on TUESDAY, January 16th, 1900, at 9 p.m. Entries for Maiden Hack Race (first day), and Eleotrio Haok (second day), and nominations for Maiden Hack Hurdle Handicap (second day), close on TUESDAY, January 16th, 1900, at 9 p.m. Weights for second day's races will be declared on Saturday, January 20th, 1900, at 8 p.m. - Acceptances olose same evening at 9 30 p.m. Definition qf a Hack.— A Haok means a horse that has not won a race of the value of 80 bovs, or races of the collective value of 150 sovs since Ist August, 1899, and has never won -an advertise^ race exceeding the net sum or value ot 40 sovs (Haok and Hunter races excepted). Every entry must state the name, or assumed name of the owner or owners, and the name, age and pedigree and description of the horse, together wilh the colors of the rider. The advertised fee must in every case accompany nomkiationß and acceptances. All races to be run under tbe "Rules of Racing." Ko betting allowed on the course, except through the medium of the totalisator. The Committee reserve the right to alter any of the above dates. All stakes paid in full. J. R. WHYTE, Secrc tary.
