Tbe drawiug room has a bay ' window commanding a capital view. 1 and is 19 feet by 15 feet, with 12 fret walls. All the rooms are 12 ' fpet in height. The fireplace i« [ fitted with a handsome tile grate. A i capital room is what is to be tiv dining room, being 17 fesfc by 14 ' feet with ft large fquare projecting 1 window which ig prettily fitted with coloured glass in the top sashps. The fonr bedrooms range in biz9 one being 15 feet hy 12 fret with ward- ', robe" one 15 feet by 12 feel, with firei olace ; onp 15 feet by 10 feet, and ' the last 12 feet by 17 feefc. The [ kitchen is 17 feet by 14 feet with ! scullery 8 feet by 9 fee*, attached. One of Luke'* ranges is fitted in the | fireplace. There is also a capital i' snuggfiry, otherwise an " office"" of 9 f e efc by 12 feet, which will make ! -in admirable smoking room. AH the rooni3 are papered with ' plain colours except the drawingI room, which will hava a handsome ! flowering dpsign with much whitp s and gold. Th<> doors are all fitted with morticed locks and ebony furniture 1 The hou3e covrra a large aren, I and ha* been honestly built by Mr ; T. East-»n, from the design of Mr '. Regnar Jenssen of Dannf-virbe. All i the framing is of heart of Ma'ai. and i the outer boards, whilst the inside is ! of red pine. The roof has been painted rpd, and the walla light green picked out with red. The ' chief points in the design is the ; snooesafol breaking of the roof, the ■ work of the chimnies, and the new otyle of brackets on the. verandah. Mr W. Nye has executed the the brickwork in a most workmanlike manner, and the painting and papering bas been entrusted to ■ Messrs Granfield and O'Neil ( f . Eoogotea. '
