Nominations for all events, except Maiden Haok Race (first day), and Maiden Back Hurdle Handicap and Electric Hack (second day), close with the Secretary at Foxton on THURSDAY, January 4th, 1900, at 9 p.m. Weights for first day's races will be declared on or about 12th January, 1900. Acceptances for first day'B races close on TUESDAY, January 16th, 1900, at 9 p.m. Entries for Maiden Hack Race (first day), and Eleotrio Hack (second day), and nominations for Maiden Hack Hurdle Handicap (second day), close on TUESDAY, January 16th, 1900, at 9 p.m. Weights for second day's races will be declared on Saturday, January 20tb, 1900, at 8 p.m. Acceptances olose same evening at 9 80 p.m. Definition qf a Each- A Haok means a horse that has not won a race of the value of 60 boys, or races of the collective value of 150 soys since Ist August, 1899, and has never won an advertised race exceeding the net sum or value of 40 soys (Hack and Hunter races excepted). Every entry must state the name, or assumed name of the owner or owners, and the name, age and pedigree and descripton of the horse, together wiih the colors of the rider. The advertised i'ee must in every case accompany nominations and acceptances. All races to be run under the "Rules of Racing."
