Foxton Borough Council.

o A special meeting of the above was held at the Library Buildings last night, at 7.30 o'clock, for the purpose of fixing the half-holiday as required by the Act. Present— The Mayor (Cr W. B. Rhodes), and Crs Purcefi, Spelman, Baker and Aldridge. Proposed by the Mayor, seconded by Cr Purcell, That Wednesday in each week be the statutory half-holiday for the ensuing twelve months. Carried.
