The winner of any hurdle raoe after declaration of weights to carry a 101 b penalty. Nominations for all events, except Mai* den Hack Race (first day), and Maiden Haok Hurdle Handicap and Electric Haok (seoond day), olose with the Secretary at Foxton on THURSDAY, January 4th, 1900, at 9 p.m. Weights for first day's raoes will be deolared on or about 12th January, 1900. Acceptances for firnt day's raoes olose on TUESDAY, January 16th, 1900. at 9 p.m. Entries for Maiden Hack Raoe (first day), and Electric Haok (seoond day), and nominations for Maiden Hack Hurdle Handicap (second day), close on TUESDAY, January 16 h, 1900, at 9 p.m. Weights for eecond day's raoes will be declared on Saturday, January 20th, 1900, at 8 p.m. Acceptances olose same, evening at 9 30 ! p.m. Definition qf a Hack.— A Haok means a horse that has not won a raoe of the value of 80 sovb, or raoeß of the collective value of 160 soys since Ist August, 1899, and has never won an advertised raoe exceeding the net sum or value of 40 boys (Haok and Hunter races exoepted). Every entry must state the name, or assumed name of the owner or owners, and the name, age and pedigree and description of the horse, together with the colors of the rider. The advertised fee must in every case accompany nominations and acoeptanoes.
