FOXTON v. OKAUA.

The Foxton cricketers journeyed to Moutoa yesterday afternoon to try conclusions with the Okaua team. A fair p'tch had been prepared on the polo ground at the back of Mr J. Strang's house. Play began at 1.45 p.m. and finished at 7.15 p.m.. just as the light was getting bad, the game resulting in a win for Foxton by 7 runs. During, the afternoon, afternoon tea was kindly provided by Mr J. Strang, assisted by young ladies. The cricketers left for home at 7.30 p.m. after having spent a most enjoyable day.
