Woight, 9 stone. To start at 4.50 p.m. Races Nos. 3 and 6 (first day), and 3 and 7 (second day), are open to all horses, the rest of the events are for hacks only. The winner of any fiat race after declaration of weights to oarry a penalty of lOlbs, and of every additional race 71bs extra, in all flat handicaps at the meeting. The winner of any hurdle raoe after declaration of weights to carry a 101 b penalty. Nominations for all events, except Maiden Hack Race (first day), and Maiden Hack Hurdle Handicap and. Eleotrio Haok (second day), close with the Seoretary at Foxton on THURSDAY, January 4th, 1900, at 9 p.m. Weights for first day's races will be declared on or about 12th January, 1900. Acceptances for fir.-t day's raceß close on TUESDAY, January 16th, 1900. at 9 p.m. Entries for Maiden Hack Race (first day), and Eleotrio Haok (second day), and nominations for Maiden Hack Hurdle Handicap (second day), close on TUESDAY, January 16th, 1900, at 9 p.m. Weights for second day's races will be declared on Saturday, January SOth, 1900, at 8 p.m. Acceptances close same evening at 9 80 p.m. Definition of a Hack.— A. Haok means a horse that has not won a race of the value of 80 soys, or races of the collective value of 150 sovb since Ist August, 1899, and has never won an advertised race exceeding the net sum or value of 40 soys (Hack and Hunter races excepted). Every entry must state the name, or assumed name of the owner or owners, and 'the name, age and pedigree and descript on of the horße, together wilh the colors of the rider. The advertised fee must in every case accompany nominations and acceptances. All races to be run under the '•Rules of Racing."
