BREAKING-UP AT THE SCHOOL
This morning the Rev. W. Wftol'ass, the Chairman of the School Committee, attended at the school to say a few worda to the children, and to wish tbe teachers a pleasant holiday. The children having been gathered into one room Mr Siewart said that Mr Woollass desired to say a frw words to thpm. fe 1( Mr Woollass addressed the chiwf,' •^n on the necessity of using good language, and conduoting themselves honorably and uprightly in all their play and work. They could not all be clever, bat tbey could all be good. He pointed out the necessity there wa? for children to get an education both at home and at school. Competed forj and iv the future wotild be much more so, arid it therefore Was of the greatest consec|ueno2 that children should pay the fullest attention to their studies so that ihey may make their way in life with credit to themselves* their teachers and parentg. Three cheers were given as usual for the teachers and Chairman of Schdol (jomiaittee, and afterwards the school was dismissed.
