Me Stevens addressed a good meeting at Montoa on Saturday night;. Last eight Mr Stevens addressed a large and enthusiastic meeting at Marlon. The Mayor took the chair. Several questions were asked. -The Mayor said tnat he had several questions to ask suggested by the Matnwatu Chamber of Commerce, but be declared there was no necassitj to put them as they bad been fully replied to in the speech just made. A unanimous vote of thanks and confidence was carried amid great applause.
