Woight, 9 stone. To start at 4.50 p.m. Races Nos. 3 and 6 (first day), and 3 and 7 (second day), are open to all horses, the rest of the events are for hacks only. The winner of any flat race after declaration of weights to carry a penalty of lOibs, and of every additional race 7!bs extra, in all flat handicaps at the meeting. The winner of any hurdle raoe after declaration of weights to carry a 101 b penalty. Nominations for all events, except Maiden Hack Raoe (first day), and Maiden Hack Hurdle Handicap and Electric Hack (second day), clotte with the Secretary at Koxton on THURSDAY, January 4th, 1900, at 9 p.m. Weights for first day's races will be declared on or about 12 h January, 1900. Acceptances for fir t day's races clo^e on TUESDAY. January 16th, 1900, at 9 p.m. En tries for Maiden Hack Race (first day), and Eleotrio Hack (second day), and nominations for Maiden Hack Hurdle Handicap (second day), close on TUESDAY, January 16ib, 1900, at 9 p.m. Weights for second day's races will be declared on Saturday, January 20th, 1900, at 8 p.m. Aooeptanoes close same evening at 9 80 p.m. Definition of a Hack.— A Hack means a horse that has not won a raoe of the value of 80 lovs, or raceß of the collective value of 150 soys since lat August, 1899, and has never won an advertised raoe exceeding the net euro or value of 40 soys (Hack and Hunter races excepted) Every entry must state the name, or assumed name of the owner or owners, and the name, age and pedigree and descript on of (be horse, together wiih the colors of the rider. The advertised fee must in every case accompany nominations and acceptances. All races to be run under the "Rules of Racing." 1^ o betting allowed on the course, except through the medium of the totalieator. The C< mruittee reserve the right to alter any of the above da:es.
