ESCAPE OF PRISONERS.
Nearly a hundred of th« Gloucasters and Royal Irish Fusiliers who were captured when L'euc. Colonel Carleton's brigade capitulated to the enemy at Nicholson's Nek, have effected their escape, and have returned to Ladysmitb. A hundred and fifty of those who were wound ad on that occasion have been conveyed inside the British lines.
Another regiment ia being enrolled at Durban.
