Messrs Freeman R. Jackson & Co., in conjunction with Messrs Abraham and Williams, repori on their Johns nville stock sale : — An average entry of ca.t'e met with a somewhat dragging sale. Small beef fairly maintainfd last week's values, but heavy bullocks were easier. Cow beef was in poor demand. A large entry of sheep were well competed for, at values about on a par with last week's. A medium en'ry of lambs, mainly of inferior quality, were dull of sale. Store pigs sold freely. Heavy bullocks brought 17s 6d to 18s the lOOlbs, small bul ocks 18s to 19s ; cow beef made 14s, and heifer 15s to 16a. Prices realised : —Heavy bullocks, £7 15s to £8 10s ; medium do, £7 to £7 7s 6d ; sma 1 do, £6 2s 6d to £7 ; cowb, £4 15s ; heifers, £5 to £5 ss. Sheep— Wethers, in wool, 14s lOd ; shorn, 9s lOd to 10s lOd ; pets, 17s ; poor wethers, 8s 8d ; woolly ewes, 12s to 13s 3d ; shorn, 9s to 9s 5d ; poor eyres, 6s 8d ; best lambs, 9s 6d; others, 7s to 8s 6d; choppers, 24b 6d ; 'arge store pigs, 22s ; porkers, 16s to 18s 6d ; stores, 10s to 14s 6d.
