BRITISH FORCES WITHDRAWN.

News has been received that the British forces which have been guarding Colenso, sixteen miles to the south of Ladysmith, where the main railway crosses the Tugela river, have been withdrawn and have been concentrated to the southward. General Koch, a prominent Boer leader, who was wounded at the Elands Laagte a fortnight ago, and who was at the time reported to have been killed, has now died from his wounds.
