Nominations for all events, except Maiden Hack Race (that day), and Maiden Hack Hurdle Handicap and Electric Hack (second day), close with the Secretary at Foxton on THURSDAY, January 4th, 1900, at 9 p.m. Weights for first day's races will be declared on or about 12th January, 1900. Acceptances for fir^t day's races clo>e on TUESDAY, January 16th, 1900, at 9 p.m. ; Entries for Maiden Hack Race (first day), and l'loelric Hack (second day), and nominations for Maiden Hack Hurdle Handcap (second day), close on TUESDAY, January 16:h, 1900, at 9 p.m. . Weights for second day's races will be declared on Saturday, January 20th, 1900, at 8 p.m. Acceptances close same evening at 9 30 p.m. Definition of a Haah.— k Hack means a horse that has not won a race of the value of 80 soys, or races of the collective value of 150 bo vs since Ist August, 1899, and has never won an advertised race exceeding the net sum or value ot 40 soys (Hack and Hunter races excepted). ' Every entry must state the name, or assumed name of ihe owner or owners, and the name, age an' 1 pedigree and descript on bf the hor.e, together wiih the coiors of the rider. The advertised fee must in every case accompany nominations and acceptances. : All races to be run nnder tbe "Rules of Racing."
