Acceptances for fir^t day's raoes close on TUESDAY, January 16th, 1900, at 9 p.m. Entries for Maiden Haok Race (first day), and Electric Hack (second day), and nominations for Maiden Hack Hurdle Handicap (second day), close on TUESDAY, January 16ih, 1900, at 9 p.m. Weights for second day's raoes will be declared on Saturday, January 20 tb, 1900, at 8 p.m. Acceptances close same evening at 9 80 p.m. Definition qf a Hack.— A. Haok means a horse thai has not won a race of the value of 80 soys, or raoes of the cohecive va.ue of 150 soys since Ist August. 1899, andha^ never won an advertised race exceeding the net cam or value oi 40 soys (Haok and Hunter raoes excepted). Every emry must state the name, or assumed name of the owner or owners, ad<l the name, age and pedigree and desoript on of the horse, together wiih the colors of the rider. The advertised fee must in every case accompany nominations and acceptances. AH raoes to be run nnder tbe "Rules of Racing."
