The winner of any flat race after declaration of waights to carry a penalty of lOlbs, and of every additional iaoe 71bs extra, in all flat handicaps at the meeting. The winner of any hurdle raoe after declaration of weights to carry a 101 b penalty. Nominations for «H events, except Maiden Hack Race (first day), and Maiden Haok Hurdle Handicap and Electric Hack (seoond day), close with the Secretary at Foxton on THURSDAY, January 4th, 1900, at 9 p.m.. Weights for first day's races will be declared on or about 12th January, 1900. Acceptances for firdt day's races close on TUESDAY, January 16th, 19uO. at 9 p.m* Entries for Maiden Haok Raoe (first day), and Electric Haok (seoond day), and nominations for Maiden Hack Hurdle Handicap (second day), close on TUESDAY, January 16th, 1900, at 9 p.m. Weights for seoond day's races will be declared on Saturday, January 20tb, 1900, at 8 p.m. Acceptances close same evening at 9 30 p.m. Definition of a Hack.-^k Haok mtans a horse that has not won a raoe of the value of 80 sovb, of races of the collective value of 150 boys since Ist August. 1899, and has never won an advertised raoe exceeding the net sum or value of 40 soys (Haok and Hunter raoes exoepted). Every entry must fctate the name, or assumed name of the owner or owners, find, the name, age and pedigree and desoript on of the horse, together wiih the colors of the rider. The advertised fee must in every case accompany nominations and acceptances. AH races to be run under the " Rules of Baoing."
